I know God can stretch time, because He has done it for me, many times. He is mighty AND merciful. I love this memory. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Joe Joe Joe......we are BOTH...lovers of words...when i was in high school..i..literally...would come home...sink down into my bed to take a nap.....and would READ THE DICTIONARY...just for a chance to ABSORB and LEARN a new word that i could apply to my very simple and very happy life. My friends thought i was nutso..but i didnt care...as this LOVE...I AM CONVINCED.. came from my parents. My mother didnt allow ANY of us to falter on the etiquette of sentence structure and form...of which i NEVER FOLLOW..now....sorry mom....and my Dad...welp...he was an attorney...not the kind that screamed and fought in courtrooms...but he was a businessman who wanted his law degree to solidify and undergird his fundamental foundation for building his company...Dad was the one who PUSHED me to.....THINK CRITICALLY and to ask questions.

Your words move me....they move many....as it is OBVIOUS that God wants you to have an audience of more than one.....and...you know...it is a GOD THING....because you NEVER ONCE sought this spotlight out on your own....it was GOD who did the RAISING UP.....as you were merely walking thru your life....then...BAM....'hey Joe..we want you'.

your mind is a GIFT.

Keep filling it UP WITH ..THE LORD....as....'He who honors me...i will HONOR.'

Thank you for sharing your story Joe. I too have many instances where looking back I have seen the hand of GOD on me. When I sat with my momma, as she passed due to cancer, it was the most heart-breaking yet beautiful time of my life. I knew without a shadow of doubt I was in the presence of GOD. HIS hand on every aspect of the weeks afterward that I needed Him most was beautiful. GOD. SHOWS. UP. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I even asked for a sign on what I should do with her house and not just one rainbow but a double rainbow was my answer. Yes. GOD is good! Blessings friend!

Thank you for glorifying the Father with your beautiful testimony of His faithfulness. He is the God of second chances, and thirds, and botched attempts, and distracted children, and prodigals, and every other place where we lack, He makes whole.

Well done doesnโ€™t even come close. This was spectacular.

Thank you Joe for sharing this moving, beautiful story. Yesterday I avoided greeting a neighbor so I could run into my house to get to my to do list. I felt so awful about it afterwards. I made the decision I would invite her for coffee. I read your story before bed and it gave me such hope that God is never finished with us and is always pursuing us. Thanks for shating your experience and talent with us!

Joe, I just now read this, in the evening of the anniversary of my Mother's passing, May 15, 2015. I knew when I started it I would have to have kleenex nearby. Sure enough. What a wonderful story. I can see why the second chance became even more of a blessing, in more ways than one. Then I came here to read the comments, and I had to grab more kleenex, lol. I needed this today, thanks.
