Leon Black was the CEO of Apollo Global Management and had a long relationship with Epstein, even AFTER he had been convicted of sex crimes.

“Black, who maintained a social relationship with Epstein since the mid-1990s and eventually paid him more than $170 million for “tax and estate planning advice,” according to the Senate Finance Committee, appeared before the Oversight panel as part of its ongoing probe into the government’s investigation of the convicted sex offender.”

Black paid Epstein $170 million for advice on “taxes and estate planning,” while

Epstein was running shell companies through offshore banks.

“Before the interview was cut short, Black faced questions about his decades-long relationship with Epstein, who he first began to see socially before hiring him to manage part of his estate. While Black acknowledged that he saw Epstein somewhat regularly -- about once a month -- he claimed they were not close friends.”

“Friendship is an amorphous term. This is somebody who knew intimately the goings on in my family tax and estate planning entities. It’s also something where, as I mentioned, I’d go over and meet his friends. I know there are emails where he claims that we’re best friends. We were never best friends,” Black said, per the transcript.”

Black was friends with Epstein for a long time.

In “email evidence,” Epstein claimed they were “close” friends and Black is now trying to distance himself from Epstein as much as possible.

Why?

We have the emails.

That’s why Congress is asking him about specific topics.

He walked out of the “transcribed” interview after realizing that he is a [target], not a witness.

He needed to regroup before he gives written testimony that can convict him.

One of the key topics that Congress asked Black about, were his many Non Disclosure Agreements with women.

He refused to answer questions about them and I think there’s a good reason why.

These NDA’s weren’t just between Black and these women. Epstein was also involved and Congress ALREADY knows that, which is why they focused on these specific questions looking into Epstein.

Knowing that Epstein has been involved in child sex trafficking for decades, it isn’t much of a reach, to think that Black was paying so much money to him, because he was being blackmailed into it.

If Black’s NDA’s involve Epstein and women who were minors at the time, that would explain his sudden panic over discussing the topic under oath and why he walked out of the interview when that topic became the focus.

But that’s not the end of the story.

“Black was issued two subpoenas after his refusals -- one compelling him to participate in a deposition and another to turn over any NDAs. A House Oversight Committee spokesperson said Black’s attorney confirmed Black would appear for a deposition on Sept. 3, and he will turn over the NDAs sometime next week.”

But remember, this is bigger than NDA’s and a possible coverup of child sex trafficking.

Jay Clayton was given a “new” position at Apollo Global Management AFTER Leon Black was removed as CEO for his close relationship with Epstein.

Clayton was able to look into the financial records at Apollo and see all the business deals that Black had with Epstein.

He was following the money.

A huge part of the money that Black paid Epstein, happened AFTER Epstein’s sex conviction.

“CEO Leon Black paid child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein $158 million for financial advice from 2012 through 2017, despite knowing Epstein pleaded guilty to sexually abusing an underage girl in 2008, a probe by a law firm retained by Apollo has found.”

“But Apollo also said that the investigation by the law firm Dechert found no wrongdoing by Black or by the investment company.

However, Black said he will retire as CEO by the end of July.”

Why step down if you’ve done nothing wrong?

The timeline tells a different story.

The Dechert investigation was a whitewash scam.
